Betty Rubinstein
Betty Rubinstein was born in Riga, Latvia.

She have been painting and drawing for as long as she can remember and has many relatives who are artists and musicians. Betty paints with oil, acrylic and aquarelle in a meticulous, realistic style, tending from time to time to become abstract, as she is inspired by the surrounding nature.

Her paintings are influenced by such great artists as Paul Cezanne, Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet. Her purpose is to motivate her people, whose daily lives are enmeshed in complexities of the modern world, and to cause them stop for a moment and recall the purity and gentleness of nature, to enjoy the silence of it all.

Betty studied at The Rosenthal School of Art and the Art Academy of Riga, Latvia, Oranim College, and at Haifa University where she earned her B.A. in art.

Her paintings have been exhibited at the Art Center of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, the Naval Museum in Haifa, the Castra Art Center in Haifa, the Gerar Behar Theater in Jerusalem, the International Congress Center in Haifa, the Bar’am Museum in the Galilee, as well as the esteemed Main Gallery in the Artists’ Village of Ein-Hod. Her artwork may be found in private collections both in Israel and abroad.
